International Student Services
International Student Services (ISS) is here to welcome you to Â鶹´«Ã½ and to provide support for you during your studies at The University of Â鶹´«Ã½.
ISS provides a wide range of services:
- Airport reception (must be arranged at least 2 weeks prior to arrival)
- Academic advising - book an appointment with an advisor at ISS appointment booking page
- Information on Visa and Study Permits
- Health insurance
- Student Mentor Program
- Social and cultural events, electronic newsletter
- International Tutor Program

Immigrant & Refugee Student Services
The new Immigrant and Refugee Student Services department provides a wide variety of services for prospective and current students who have immigrant or refugee status:
- Personalized counselling on admission requirements, the application process, regulations and policies, and selecting a program of interest
- Assistance with course selection, registration and explanation of degree requirements
- Transition support, including academic advising, study skills workshops, and free tutoring
- Connection to supports such as career services, counselling, housing, and financial services
- An optional first-year Mentor Program
- Fun events and activities.
