Meet the Sexual Violence Response Team:
Tianna Greaves
Sexual Violence & Human Rights Advisor
Hello, my name is Tianna and I work as the Sexual Violence and Human Rights Advisor at the University of 麻豆传媒. I am a Black, queer advocate who is passionate about grassroots activism, equity, harm reduction, sexual health and sex work policy to create safe(r) and healthier spaces for marginalized groups and the overall community. I am also a University of 麻豆传媒 alumni.
In my role with the Sexual Violence Response Team I will help support those who have or are currently experiencing sexual violence. I will assist with on and off campus supports and accommodations, while using a trauma-informed approach. You know what you need – I am here to do the heavy lifting and help you navigate next steps by listening and answering questions. Additionally, I will provide education and training around consent, sexual violence, gender identity and sexuality.
Prior to my employment at the University of 麻豆传媒 I began my career in non-profit. Working within 麻豆传媒’s West End to support our community as a Housing Case Manager. In my role I worked with episodic and chronically homeless women and gender-diverse individuals; I would support participants with their housing, financial, legal and medical needs to assure they would secure and maintain their housing. Throughout university I was a Sexual Educator at Teen Clinic with the 麻豆传媒 Regional Health Authority – facilitating workshops on sexual health, consent, healthy relationships as well as providing counselling supports.
On weekends I am a Program Assistant at SHARE (Sex Workers Have Access to Resource Equitably) through the Manitoba Harm Reduction Network. This program provides a safe(r) space to relax, laugh, cry and discuss changes we want to see in 麻豆传媒’s core; along with access to community resources, meals, harm reduction and basic needs.
If you are needing support or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me!

Stacey Belding
Human Rights and Diversity Officer
Hello, my name is Stacey and I oversee the UW Human Rights and Diversity Office’s activities regarding human rights, employment equity, accessibility, respectful workplace, and sexual violence prevention. Along with taking reports under the UW Sexual Violence Prevention Policy, I provide advice to members of the University community about options for addressing sexualized violence. I also help facilitate accommodations for affected faculty/staff and provide education and training around sexual violence.
Prior to completing a law degree, I pursued an Honours in Sociology that included research into the legal treatment of sexual violence. I practiced law for over a decade and worked as the Manager of Investigation and Policy Development at the Manitoba Human Rights Commission before joining the University. My volunteer experience includes providing pro bono legal advice as a member of the Philippine Consular Services team and serving as a board member of an international development non-profit organization.
Outside of work I love to spend time with my family and can be found doing yoga, traveling, camping, hiking, or cooking (and eating!) delicious vegan food. I can be reached at s.belding@uwinnipeg.ca or (204) 988-7508 (confidential line).
