Student Organizations
Geography and Environmental Studies/Sciences Student Association (GESA)
GESA’s purpose is to get students involved in activities outside the classroom. We work to create awareness about events happening in the University and around the city related to our field of study. Students are also made aware of learning and employment opportunities related to their degree. We want students to have the chance to meet each other on a social level so that connections and friendships can be built throughout their studies at UÂ鶹´«Ã½ and beyond.
Our quaint student lounge is a great place to do homework, get help with assignments, and chat about what’s happening in the department(s).
UW Forestry Students’Association (UWFSA)
The University of Â鶹´«Ã½ Forestry Students’ Association (UWFSA) brings together like-minded students with a passion for forests and environmental studies and sciences. Through the UWFSA students are involved in networking events, fundraising, volunteer work, research, and other opportunities to help them gain meaningful experience in many areas related to forests and the environment.
