New! Intercultural Mentor Positions
Your IM Video Application
Your application is your first video submission! This is our chance to get to know you. Create a 2-4 minute video, introducing yourself to us. Be sure to cover:
- Who you are and what you are studying at UÂ鶹´«Ã½
- Why you are interested in going on Exchange
- What you hope to learn
- Something to show us your personality! A hidden talent, your hobby... anything that helps us get to know you
Entries will be assessed by a panel, and three students will be selected. An important outcome of the outbound mobility project is to support students from groups who are underrepresented in exchanges.
Therefore, the 3 positions will be prioritized as follows:
- One position for an Indigenous student
- One position for a student from the newcomer community
- One open position
Technical Details
There is not need or expectation that students will be using professional video equipment, editing software, etc. to create their entry. A video show on a phone or webcam is just fine! The important part is to help us get to know you... we will work together with the IMs on camera tips, etc. down the road.
To submit the video:
- Login to your UÂ鶹´«Ã½ NextCloud account
- Upload your video
- Share it with Ashley Dunlop: as.dunlop@uwinnipeg.ca
Deadline for submission is February 15.
