Tune in Tuesdays are hosted by Peer Wellness Educators, who are student staff that work out of The University of Â鶹´«Ã½ Wellness Centre. Their goal is to raise awareness around mental health and wellness on campus.
Connect with the Peer Wellness Educators over Zoom and learn about important and shared challenges in a 30-45 minute presentation! (See topics, dates and details below.) Pre-registration is required.

Perfectionism and Anxiety
Date: January 28, 2025

Do you find yourself constantly worrying about being perfect, whether in your own behaviours or those of people close to you? The cycle of perfectionism and anxiety often arises from a hyper-focus on achieving flawless standards. This cycle can be especially prevalent in academic settings and personal relationships, and often involves self-imposed unrealistic expectations.
Join the Peer Wellness Educators for this Tune In Tuesday session, where we will explore the connection between perfectionism and anxiety and how they impact mental health. The peers will also share effective coping strategies and valuable resources to help support individuals affected by this.
Online registration for this webinar will open soon.
More Tune in Tuesday sessions are scheduled for these dates, with topics to be announced:
February 25, 2025: TBA
