Up to 24 Credit hours of electives that may include the following:
- RHET-1105/3* Academic Writing
- 6 Credit hours of Humanities, See Section VIII of the course calendar for specific course listings
- 6 credit hours from another science: examples include Chemistry, Physical Geography, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics
Additional Degree requirement that can be met in your first:
Distribution: A minimum three (3) credit hours from each of five (5) different subjects.
Note: Students may use a maximum of 42 credit hours at 1000 level towards a degree.
*RHET-1105/3 is required if grade less than 80% in English 40S (2 credits) see Section VIII of the course calendar for specific requirements.** Although there are several Introductory level Biology courses offered at The University of Â鶹´«Ã½, only Cells and Cellular Processes and Evolution, Ecology and Biodiversity count towards the Biology major
