Â鶹´«Ã½:

Dr. David Telles-Langdon is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Kinesiology and Applied Health at The University of Â鶹´«Ã½. He is also the Director of the Advanced Coaching Diploma program in Manitoba. Telles-Langdon completed his PhD in Cognition and Learning at the University of Western Ontario. He also holds a MEd in Coaching Studies from the University of Victoria and a BA in Sport Coaching from UÂ鶹´«Ã½. A Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC) through the Coaching Association of Canada, he is a graduate of the National Coaching Institute (NCI) in Victoria. He managed the multi-sport apprentice coach practicum program during the 1999 Pan Am Games.

He teaches courses in sport pedagogy, motor learning, and sport ethics and his research interests encompass a variety of areas related to the impact of coaching and coach education on youth sport experiences. Telles-Langdon has served on the boards of Coaches of Canada since 2005, and the Canadian Sport Centre – Manitoba from 1998-2003. He has also served on the Advisory Panel on Healthy Children and Youth to the Federal Minister of Health and on the Advisory Panel on Children’s Fitness Tax Credit to the Federal Minister of Finance.
