Christopher Brauer is a Â鶹´«Ã½-based director and text coach, as well as an Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre and Film at The University of Â鶹´«Ã½, where he teaches acting, directing and Shakespeare performance.
Brauer's directing credits include: (upcoming) Am I Not King: the last concert of Richard II (zone41/WECC); The Moonlight Sonata of Beethoven Blatz (Station Arts Centre); Richard III & Othello (Shakespeare in the Ruins); Venus in Fur (Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre); Angels in America: Millenium Approaches & Perestroika (Â鶹´«Ã½ Jewish Theatre); The Three Sisters (zone41/Theatre Projects Manitoba); Winter’s Tale (Tom Tom Theatre); Story of a Sinking Man (Theatre Dirigible); The Universal Wolf (No Sugar Added Productions); Three More Sleepless Nights (Broken Dog Productions); The Play’s the Thing, Marion Bridge (Georgian Theatre Festival).
