Â鶹´«Ã½:
Dr. Andrew McGillivray has a research background in medieval Icelandic literature, focusing in particular on Old Norse mythology in a literary context. His interest in Nordic language and culture was strengthened by his studies abroad in Denmark and Iceland, where he was introduced to European educational practices.
While continuing to research medieval and Nordic topics, McGillivray also has a keen interest in the connection between language and culture here in Â鶹´«Ã½ specifically, Manitoba more broadly, and in Canada generally. Specifically, the rhetorical representation of culture interests McGillivray at present.
