MAY 1893: The King Memorial Window is a round stained glass window commissioned by Principal King to commemorate his wife Janet Skinner King, who had passed away in 1876.  It is also known as the Window of Classical Learning and depicts Queen Theologia surrounded by female personifications of classical learning and Christian virtues.  It was designed by Henry Holiday of London.  Its original home was in Convocation Hall of the Manitoba College building.  When George Bryce Hall was constructed in 1951, the window was moved there where it remains to this day.
